My name is Amber and my husband is Kirk we’ve been trying to get pregnant for about 8 years now. I’ve always struggled with PCOS since my teenage years. I never thought that I would have so many complications when it comes to trying to get pregnant. It’s such a rollercoaster of emotions. The nights laying down praying and wishing that it was easy for me to conceive. Feelings I have when I think I failed my husband as a wife that I cannot give him a family that he deserves. The days feeling like it will never happen and feelings of giving up. We are Christians and have strong faith in Gods timing but in my situation I need additional help from a doctor. We have been to fertility specialist and done 3 rounds of IUIs. I developed cyst each round, which makes it even more difficult to conceive. Our only hope is in doing IVF. It’s a feeling of defeat when it comes to this point then the finances are a barrier. I am a dental clinic Assistant Office Manager. I’ve been consistent at this job for about 6 years now. Kirk is a Crane Operator at an aluminum plant and he’s been there for about 5 years. Kirk is 28 and I’m 31. We are still young but are ready to start our family. We’ve been married for a year now and still have hope in one day having our miracle. We live in Louisiana and our insurance won’t cover any infertility treatments. The banks are tight when it comes to personal loans with high interest rates. Our monthly checks from work won’t make up for high monthly payments. At this point we have tried every aspect it comes to when trying to receive personal financing. Which is how we landed on this platform to let others know our story.
